California

We're leaving for California tomorrow afternoon and will be in Portland, Oregon by next weekend. But until then, we will not have access to the internet.
Our friends have been back from Canada for a few days now and our kids are loving the companionship of their kids. We will miss them when we go but maybe we will come back again next winter...
Some of the things that we loved in Mexico, we have been able to find in Phoenix. The Hispanic population is so high, we almost feel like we are in a more modern Mexico, complete with drinkable tap water and hot showers! Here's Ila, taking good care of our Horchata (rice milk with cinnamon):
