Camelback

The last few days have been fairly uneventful for the kids and I. Rus and Niels are still recovering from a hike they did on monday. They wanted to climb Camelback Mountain for the same reason that I didn't want my kids going: the state park website mentioned that there were "steep, rocky sections with drop-offs on both sides". They were gone for about seven hours and I was beginning to worry about them. The site said that it was only a 1.5 mile hike. But when they came back, I found out that they had gone up the mountain, down the other side, back up again, then back down again to where they began. Rus fell at some point and has a very colorful leg to show for it. They both have been having trouble climbing stairs lately. Niels let me use a couple of his pictures:
