Hollywood
next stop: Los Angeles. It wasn't a very charming place. The smog hanging over that city was unbelievable. I thought that people just exaggerated when they talked about it but it was pretty disgusting. I don't know why someone would voluntarily live there, yet a lot of people do obviously. We parked in Hollywood, saw Mann's Chinese Theatre where all the big premieres are held, walked on some stars, window-shopped, but we didn't stay long. Hollywood itself is not a beautiful place either. We had planned on visiting Hollywood and then driving through the swanky places like Malibu and Beverly Hills, but like I said earlier, we had travel fatigue and just wanted to keep going back north, so we skipped the other destinations. We did see a film crew and spotted one not-so-well-known celebrity: Dian Bachar. I didn't recognize him until I saw him in pictures again but Rus and Niels did.
