homesick
I have been feeling a little homesick lately and seeing this little curious cat peeking over the old boat at me reminded me of our cat Simon and it made my homesickness worse.

Liz... it's only cause subconciously you know you're going to be missing out on a very important baby blessing this sunday. tho it doesn't sound like you're missing anything spanish. keep practicing...and study your verbs...it's all in the noun + verb that'll make it easier to understand...memorize 2 verbs a day and how to conjugate them and then make sure you use them so they stick. Also start post-it noting on objects at home. get some good vocab.

oh yeah congratulations on your baby girl! i got your msn message the other day. we actually got a membership at the library and they have learning spanish books so that is helping me. but yeah, it's definitely the verbs that get me. 2 verbs a day...that's a lot!
yeah it's intimidating at first i guess. i was just noticing some of the verb patterns last night. i'm just having trouble rememberng how to say them when the pressure is on.

the first few are hard...after that the pattern becomes apparent and it's a lot easier.
