Mazatlan

We made it as far as Los Mochis and we missed the beach too much after only a day so we decided to continue south to Mazatlan. We have been here two days now and although there are a lot of tourists, there aren't as many as I expected. We are staying in Old Mazatlan, the center, and not that many tourists venture out of their resorts. The ones that are here in this area are mostly retirees and snowbirds. We are going back to Dublan soon for Liam to start school again but I think we might leave that area in a month or so and come out to the beach instead.
pictures explanations- 1. Mei looking out our hotel room window(Hotel Lerma); 2. Liam in front of the devil's cave in the side of a hill; 3. Catholis cathedral in downtown Mazatlan; 4. a big banana!; 5. Liam taking a rest on the un-stroller/wheelchair friendly sidewalk, typical everywhere that we have been so far; 5. the devil inside this cave at a nativity scene at the cathedral; 6. baby goats (there were also horses, ducks, donkeys, chickens, sheep, etc) at the same nativity scene. We also saw live animals at the nativity scene at a cathedral in Guaymas; 7. Ila, happy that baby Jesus was finally in the manger.
